MTMH 2nd MRI and ICU Inauguration on December 9th, 2022

MTMH is expanding its services by adding a second MRI, a four-bedded ICU and special cabins.

The MRI, installed at TMH, was inaugurated by Mr Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel on December 9th. It will serve the admitted patients at TMH. Previously, sick patients were transported by ambulance to MTMH campus for an MRI scan. With the installation of 2nd MRI, patients will save time and patient transportation will be safer.

Mrs Ruchi Narendran inaugurated a 4-bedded Intensive Care Unit and Specialized Cabin Block at MTMH. The construction of this block was supported through a donation from Manish Metal Processing & Engineering Co. Pvt Ltd in memory of Narobabu (Mr N.P Sinha). Three specialized cabins have been constructed for blood cancer patients who need to be protected from infection. The total bed strength of MTMH is now 135.
