Established in 1975, the Pathology Lab has grown to match the requirements of Oncology diagnosis and speciality care.
Radiology
Established in 1988, the Department of Radiology is located at the Diagnostic Centre of MTMH.
Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT
PET-CT Scanning services have been available at MTMH from July 2019 onwards as part of the Tata Trusts expansion programme for MTMH. It is the only PET CT machine in Jharkhand, so far.
Medical Oncology
The Department of Medical Oncology was established in 2018 and since then it has developed into a modern and full-fledged Medical Oncology department offering a range of specialised treatments – the first of its kind in Jharkhand.
Radiation Oncology
Radiation Oncology is a speciality where there is controlled use of radiation either to cure cancer or to relieve symptoms of cancer like pain and bleeding.
Surgical Oncology
The Department of Surgical Oncology, Tata Main Hospital (TMH) provides surgical treatment for patients of all types of solid cancers (e.g. Breast cancer, head and neck, colon cancer etc.) at MTMH.
Palliative Care
Palliative care is specialized medical care that focuses on providing relief from pain and other symptoms of a serious illness like cancer.
