Overview
The Department of Surgical Oncology, Tata Main Hospital (TMH) provides surgical treatment for patients of all types of solid cancers (e.g. Breast cancer, head and neck, colon cancer etc.) at MTMH. The Surgical Oncology Department in collaboration with MTMH and the Department of General Surgery has been providing scientific and modern surgical treatment options to cancer patients in and around Jharkhand.
The Surgical Oncology team consists of consultants supported by medical officers and specially trained oncology nurses. The team has expertise and experience in doing many complicated surgeries and providing both curative and palliative surgical options to cancer patients.
